Rachell has sung in a variety of bands in the last ten years singing rock, blues and soul. She has performed in many musicals with local theatre companies.  She also teaches dance for a Kapiti Coast dance school. Giving up theatre in 2001 to concentrate on singing, she joined sister Emma Woodward and friend Nichola King providing backing vocals for their friends the Wyde boys performing on the corporate circuit. The Disco Divas were thus formed and are now Rachell's main music focus along with providing backing vocals for the David Feehan Band.  Rachell has also performed with the Blues Brother show at both Wellington and New Plymouth 2003 Super 12 games.  Rachell has performed at the Wellington Singers Concerts and has a wonderful smokey voice that really excels in the Disco / R n B genre.
